Summary of Rental terms

Introduction

• By ordering a MarketDrama Website Rental Service you receive all the normal practical benefits of a website while not actually owning it.

• The outline of Rental Service terms below does not cover the general terms of our business service. Our full terms and conditions as they apply to each of our web services are available here.

Summary of Website Rental Terms & Conditions

• The website "rental" fee applies to customers' payment for utilisation of our website designs and excludes (a) Website Hosting and (b) Domain Name registration/Renewal fees;
  
  (Note: Web Hosting/Domain fees are a additional to webdesign fees throughout the Internet industry.)

• Our "dynamic" (user-editable) website designs, EasiEdit and EasiList incur a one-off Set-up fee;

• Domain name registration fees are payable in advance of registration and are non-refundable; domain name renewal will be for a minimum of two years and must be paid in advance.
  
  (Note (1): a refund will be gicen in cases where a name cannot be registered;
  Note (2): When registering a domain name on behalf of a customer we always register it in the name of the customer or other person advised by them - i.e. the customer is the "registrant";
  Note (3): If your name is renewed for several years ahead and you choose to transfer to another website service provider your paid-up name renewal period will remain valid.

• If you choose to cease your subscription to our website rental service, we will facilitate a prompt transfer of your domain name to another administrator advised by you.

• If you already have registered a name that you wish to use with our web rental service we will require to be the name "admin contact" throughout the period of the service.

• When registering a domain name on behalf of a customer we always register it in the name of the customer or other person advised by them (i.e. the customer is the "registrant").

• The first year's Web Hosting fees and the Set-up fee are payable before the website rental service goes online at the customers web address and are non-refundable;
  
  (Note: thereafter fees are payable yearly at the end of the service period.)

• Apart from the non-refundable first year's fees, customers may cancel their service at one month's notice without penalty.

• Total annual service fees will be billed once per year by Proforma Invoice by postal delivery approx. six weeks prior to Service Expiry Date. If you provide an active email address we will send an email reminder approx, three weeks prior to expiry date. If payment is not received by Service Expiry Date the service will be suspended without notice.

• Re-instatement of a service suspended due to non-payment will incur will incur a fee of £45.
