The Old Green is a large and varied plant nursery, including popular restaurant and shop. Originally a flax mill, the building's extensive glazed roofs provide ideal conditions for plant growing, while the many old buildings dating from an earlier era offer a pleasant escape from modernity. The nursery also includes considerable open-air plant areas to explore plus supervised play-areas for children, leaving the adult gardeners free to enjoy the browsing/ shopping environment.
